Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala after their oath-taking ceremony. Taking to the microblogging site Twitter, PM Modi gave his best wishes to them.

ML Khattar and Dushyant Chautala sworn-in
A day after the BJP sealed a deal with Dushyant Chautala's Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) to form the next Haryana government, Manohar Lal Khattar has been sworn-in as the Chief Minister consecutively for the second time. Along with him, the JJP chief Dushyant Chautala has been sworn-in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana. Both the Chief Minister and the Deputy CM were sworn-in the presence of the Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya on Sunday.
The event held at the Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh was attended by BJP national working president JP Nadda, Shiromani Akali Dal patron Parkash Singh Badal and party leader Sukhbir Singh Badal, among others. After Haryana assembly elections, that were held on October 21, the saffron party sealed an alliance with it to get the absolute number.
Poll results in Haryana
The final results of the Haryana Assembly Elections witnessed the seemingly invincible BJP winning 40 seats. While the Congress won 31 seats, the newly formed Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) under the leadership of Dushyant Chautala won 10 seats. After the election, Haryana Lokhit Party (HLP) candidate Gopal Kanda, extended his unconditional support to the BJP and claimed that he had the 5 independent MLAs with him. However, the saffron party did not accept his offer.
