Apart from the 'Howdy, Modi'event, other key events at the UNGA include several bilateral, multilateral events and interaction with the business community. On Thursday, Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale gave a detailed briefing about PM Narendra Modi's US visit in September. After PM Modi's visit to Houston, Texas for 'Howdy, Modi', he will go to the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The key highlights from his visit are multilateral engagements at the UN, bilateral visit and interaction with business community and the Indian diaspora. Other important events include PM Modi being awarded the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for his Swachh Bharat movement and commemoration of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birthday anniversary at the UN.

On 23rd, PM Modi has several multilateral events in NY including Climate Summit at UN, he is an early speaker and he will show what India has done about the pressing issue of climate change and expectation and aspiration from the international community.
