Sabarimala LIVE Updates: SDPI workers arrested for stabbing BJP man, cases filed against CPM, BJP activists
Kerala has been tense owing to political violence since Wednesday after two women entered Sabarimala temple. Three SDPI workers were arrested for stabbing BJP man during violence over Sabarimala protest on Friday. Cases were also booked against CPIM and BJP workers for the violence on Thursday night. Three SDPI workers have been arrested on Friday from Thrissur for stabbing a BJP worker.
The worker was stabbed on Wednesday after political violence broke out in Kerala after two women of menstruating age entered the temple.
The SDPI workers have been arrested for attempted murder, say police sources.
On Thursday, CPIM and BJP activists went on a rampage in Adoor region of Pathanamthitta district in Kerala where the Sabarimala shrine is located. Eight to ten houses and a few shops belonging to activists from both sides were attacked.
The miscreants have damaged vehicles parked outside the house.
CPIM district secretariat members house was also attacked.
On Thursday 11 BJP activists were arrested in connection with the violence in Adoor town. Three workers were also arrested.

KC Venugopal on the violence over Sabarimala speaking in Lok Sabha: "This kind of atrocity is not accepted."
Meenakshi Lekhi in Lok Sabha: "These people who are commenting on this issue do not even know about Hinduism... Pinrayi Vijayan is the man responsible for all the violence. If they would have been devotees, they would have visited in daylight, but they visited at night as transgenders."

Sabarimala Karma Samiti during a press conference said:
"Hindu Samaj has not given the permission to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan to take a decision on his own when it comes to our belief. He tried to scare the people by saying that this is the Supreme Court verdict but we challenged that as well. Devaswom board should resign as soon as possible."
Sabarimala Karma Samiti also announced it will take up Rath Yatra in district level on January 11,12,13 in Kerala. This Yatra will again insist the idea of saving the Sabarimala traditions
Tasleem Rehmani from SDPI has blamed RSS for the violence:
"RSS should apologise. They gave a call for a Bandh. Goons of RSS tried to arrest, beat people."

Sabarimala Karma Samithi while addressing a press conference said:
"In the last few days 2 women entered who are known as Maoist. We have proof regarding these Maoist about their willingness for entering Sabrimala."
