Shilpa Shetty, Kundra transacted with man being probed for D-link?

On Wednesday, Republic Media Network’s further investigation into the Dawood Company story threw up new documents and fresh angles. As per documents accessed by Republic TV, there have been several financial dealings which have surfaced that entail RKW Developers. Ranjeet Bindra, who is currently being investigated by the agencies and in-custody of the ED, was a former director in RKW Developers. Dheeraj Wadhawan, also known as Baba Dewan, was also a Director in the company. Both Baba Dewan and Ranjeet Bindra are under the scanner of the agencies for D-Company links. 

Among the alleged connections of RKW Developers is a certain subsidiary company named ‘Essential Hospitality Pvt. Ltd’. As per the accessed document, there were allegedly certain financial transactions between RKW Developers and Essential Hospitality Pvt Ltd. The documents indicate a large investment in 'Essential Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.' The documents further indicate that RKW developers, which is allegedly owned by Dheeraj Dhawan, gave a significant loan to Essential Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.

About ‘Essential Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.’

As per further documents accessed by Republic Media Network, 'Essential Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.' has had famous Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty as a Director of the company and her husband and businessmen Raj Kundra as a ‘subscriber’. It is unclear whether the alleged transactions occurred while Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra were associated with the company, however the documents throw up the question whether the Kundras might have directly or indirectly transacted with an individual who is presently under investigation by the ED.

Republic’s previous investigation on the political angle 

Previously on October 14, Republic TV accessed a document bearing the alleged signature of NCP leader Praful Patel on a deal with those linked to Dawood's aide Iqbal Mirchi. Apart from the signatures, the deed also showed Praful Patel's photo and alleged thumbprint in the deal along with Hajra Memon's alleged photo and thumbprint. While Praful Patel admitted to a certain transaction with the family of Mirchi, the investigating agencies have since called in the politician for questioning in the case.
