Solanki accuses shows on Netflix India of spreading hate

Online streaming platform portraying Nation in a bad light: Solanki
In his complaint, Solanki also specified parts of the shows, which, as per him are a clear insult to the Hindus and India. He has accused Sacred Games, produced by Anurag Kashyap, of holding Hindus responsible for all the crime happening in the world, including killings in the US. Huma Qureshi starrer Leila is said to have been promoting Aryavat to be a way of life in the future. As per Solanki, it is more like a radical cult, as it defames and hurts religious sentiments. Comedian Hasan Minhaj has been accused of spreading false propaganda about the Central Government's decision to abrogate Article 370. Horror series Ghoul which shows custodial killings by the army has been blamed for spreading wrong and hateful propaganda.
In his complaint, Solanki said, "Almost, every series of Netflix India is with the intention to defame the country on a global level. It is with the deep-rooted Hinduphobia that the platform is portraying the nation in a bad light."
Ramesh Solanki of Shiv Sena has urged the police to investigate the content mentioned in the complaint and to take all necessary steps from summoning the team to cancelling Netflix's license if required.
He further said, "One cannot allow an innocent generalisation based on bogus rhetoric trying to defame a religious minority i.e. Hindus in countries other than India." Furthermore, he also called out the agenda of the series to be a sinister plot.
