Slight respite from biting cold in HP; Keylong coldest at minus 8.3 deg C
Himachal Pradesh got a slight respite from the biting cold as minimum and maximum temperatures increased by a few notches in the state, the meteorological department said on Saturday.

The weather remained dry and the minimum and maximum temperatures increased by 1-4 degrees Celsius since Friday.
Tribal district Lahaul-Spiti's administrative centre Keylong was the coldest place in the state with the lowest minimum temperature at minus 8.3 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.
Kinnaur's Kalpa was recorded a low of minus 5 degrees Celsius, followed by Manali 0.8 degrees Celsius and Kufri 2.8 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Dalhousie and Shimla was 5.1 degrees Celsius and 5.7 degrees Celsius respectively.
Solan recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state ar 22.2 degrees Celsius.
