BJP MP from Punjab's Gurdaspur Sunny Deol on July 26, rescued a 45-year-old woman identified as Veena Bedi after she was reportedly sold to a Pakistani man by a travel agent who lured her to Kuwait by promising a housekeeping job with Rs 30,000 per month salary to her.
