Tejashwi plays caste card over criticism of his mid-air birthday party

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has made a satirical post on Facebook, after facing flak from political parties and netizens for celebrating his 30th birthday on a chartered aircraft high in the sky. Tejashwi has posted 8 pictures of himself in the aircraft and written that "Some people cannot digest that how can a milkman, buffalo grazer can have tea in an aircraft. This is another allegation being levelled on me. I don't understand why people are worried about me. I eat corn, guava and snacks on roadside and kebabs in the plane. But someone else is having a stomach ache. This is an age-old problem by birth. What can I do? "
Through this tweet Tejashwi has played the victim card, to reach out to his voters. He wants to convey the message that he is being attacked by the upper caste because he is the son of a backward, that is why he has written someone is having stomach ache which is an age-old problem.
Sanjay Singh's comment
JDU spokesperson Sanjay Singh said that "It's a habit of Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu Yadav to play the caste card, whenever they are caught doing anything wrong, either it is corruption charges or celebrating a birthday in a chartered aircraft. But he should understand that the common people are very intelligent, and they understand that Tejashwi Yadav only becomes a son of a poor and backward to grab votes, and in reality, he leads a lucrative 5-star lifestyle."

Tejashwi's pictures of his mid-air 30th birthday celebration in a chartered plane, with his close confidante Sanjay Yadav, Mani Yadav and Bhola Yadav went viral after one of the co-passenger, a Ranchi based businessman Siddhant Suman, posted the birthday celebration pictures on Facebook. Now with this post, Tejaswi has played the victim card, hinting that he is being targeted because he is backward. This is not the first time that Tejashwi's lifestyle has come to the fore. Last year Sushil Modi had exposed Tejashwi Yadav's 5-star facilities in his official residence meant for Leader of opposition, which had more than 50 air conditioners and all the modern amenities like a 5-star hotel.
