In a horrendous incidence, a cow was raped in a village in Andhra Pradesh.
The cow raped by an unknown person was three-months pregnant. She belonged to a dairy farmer, Nama Butchi Raju. The incident occurred at Gokivada village in Pithapuram mandal of East Godavari district.
The incident had reportedly gone missing on Sunday morning, was later found tied to a tree in a field nearby, and was bleeding through her genitals.
A local veterinarian confirmed that the pregnant cow had been sexually assaulted after conducting tests.
The farmer has lodged a police complaint and the horrid event has perturbed the villagers who have now demanded stern action against the culprit, citing similar incidences in the past. The agitated locals only pacified after they were assured by the police that action would be taken against the accused in the crime.
In July a pregnant goat died after she was allegedly sodomised in Haryana by 8 men.
As ANI reported the goat owner registered a police complaint and named three accused Savakar, Haroon, Jaffar, while the rest five were unknown.
The alleged drug addicts assaulted the animal inside a deserted house, which led to the death of the pregnant animal.
