The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath held a Janta Darbar in the city of Gorakhpur in Haryana on Sunday, November 17. The Janta Darbar was held in order to address the grievances of the people. It was organised at the Gorakhnath temple. At the darbar, many people submitted applications to CM Adityanath and urged him to take the necessary steps to resolve their issues. It is worth noting that even before Adityanath became the Chief Minister he has previously held such darbars.
Adityanath promises justice
The people that were present at the darbar, spoke to ANI about their applications and stated that the UP Chief Minister has promised them of justice. One of the people who had visited the Janata Darbar, Ram Vichtrea Tripathi stated that "I had deposited Rs 28,7500 to the builder but it has been two years I have not got my flat. The builder is demanding Rs 4 lakh more. I have submitted the application on the same to the chief minister."
Another person who visited the darbar, Vinay Kumar Singh stated, "My child was barred from giving the exam as school authorities claimed that I have not paid Rs 600 for bus fees. My child's future is in dark now. I requested the Chief Minister to order an investigation into the same and take strict action against the private school for such a move."
Adityanath Seeks Report On Minister Threatening Police Officer
Meanwhile, on Saturday, CM Adityanath asked for an inquiry report on the purported audio clip in which state minister Swati Singh is heard threatening a police officer in Lucknow. "A report in this connection has been sought from the SSP, Lucknow and will be submitted to the Chief Minister at the earliest," the state's DGP O P Singh said. In the audio clip, the minister is heard directly questioning Circle Officer, Lucknow Cant, Binu Singh about an FIR filed against Ansal Developers and expressing displeasure over it.
The minister is allegedly heard telling the CO that a 'fake case' had been filed and that there were orders from the higher-ups that a case will not be registered against the Ansals. Singh is also apparently heard saying that the case in question is a high-profile case and that the chief minister is aware of it. She is heard asking the CO to sit with her to resolve the matter if she wanted to continue working.
