Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 69 on Tuesday 17, September, and was greeted by several leaders and netizens who took to social media to wish the Prime Minister. Indian Cricket captain Virat Kohli too, has taken to Twitter to wish the Prime Minister the best for his birthday.

Social media is abuzz with supporters and followers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi extending their best wishes to him on his 69th birthday. Late on Monday, the Prime Minister reached Ahmedabad and was welcomed by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and state Chief Minister Vijay Rupani at the airport. PM Narendra Modi has a packed schedule and will spend a better part of the day in Gujarat, where he will pay a visit to the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the Narmada river to kick off the 'Namami Narmade' festival.
Raising slogans and cheering for the Prime Minister
Outside the airport, the atmosphere was euphoric with people raising slogans and cheering for the Prime Minister. PM Modi also acknowledged his supporters and waved at them from the front seat of his vehicle. Delhi’s BJP unit celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday at India Gate on Tuesday midnight. The BJP workers in Bhopal brought in the PM's birthday by cutting a 69 feet long cake and in another incident, the owner of a Surat-based bakery has announced that a 700-foot long cake will be cut.
