'What a fantastic & befitting reply!': Hema Malini hails Indian Armed Forces for successful airstrike on JeM terrorist camps
Actress turned politician, Hema Malini congratulated the Indian armed forces for the successful mission and said that it was a 'fantastic & befitting reply'.
The sacrifice of the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in Pulwama terror attack did not go unanswered as India struck back at the Pakistani terror bases on Tuesday. The Indian Air Force has avenged the death of the 40 CRPF Jawans, who were bombed to death by Pakistan based terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed. It took down their biggest training camp of JeM in Balakot, Pakistan, killing over 200 (as per media reports) terrorists.
Following the same, several Indian celebrities took to social media to congratulate and praise the Indian Air Force, who accomplished the mission risking their lives to avenge our martyrs. Actress-turned-politician Hema Malini also congratulated the Indian armed forces for the successful mission and said that it was a 'fantastic & befitting reply'.
Hailing the government and the IAF, the actress in a Twitter post wrote, "What a fantastic & befitting reply to Pak’s atrocities in Pulwama! Hats off to our marvelous IAF boys & our Air Chief who have retaliated with precision after meticulous planning with the PM, the NSA, Army Chief & senior ministers. Our martyrs have been avenged! Jai Hind!"

Previously, talking about the Pulwama terror attack during a media interaction, the veteran actress condemned the 'cowardly' move of the Pakistani terrorist outfit and asked citizens to stand by the families of the martyred soldiers.
In the days following the attack, the Indian government, including the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, have made clear that the Armed Forces had been given a free rein to avenge the attack.
On Tuesday, February 26, Foreign Secretary of India issued a statement confirming that the Indian Air Force struck and destroyed Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps across the Line of Control in a pre-dawn operation. As per sources, the strike, carried out by 12 of the IAF's Mirage 2000 fighters, lasted up to 21 minutes and was carried out at three locations. As per media reports, six bombs were dropped on the terrorist camps by the Indian Air Force Mirage 2000s.
