Yogesh Verma, the BJP's MLA for UP's Lakhimpur Kheri constituency, has been shot at during Holi celebrations in his constituency.
As per sources, he was shot at by car-borne attackers.
He has been moved to hospital and is in a serious condition, according to inputs. Senior officers of the district are on their way to the hospital, as are senior BJP leaders.
