Amid the dramatic developments in Delhi after P Chidambaram reached his Delhi residence and simultaneously teams of ED and CBI reached at his residence as a part of the investigation in the INX Media case, his son and Sivaganga MP Karti took to Twitter and targeted probe agencies.

Calling it a "political witch-hunt", he claimed that he has nothing to do with the INX media case or the FIPB, even as ED proofs against him have revealed otherwise. Adding that he has been raided four times and appeared for over 20 summons, Karti went on to give an account of the times he has been questioned by CBI and the ED. Reiterating his father's defence, Karti Chidambaram further claimed that there is "still no chargesheet and "no case".

In another tweet, Karti Chidambaram thanked the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Kapil Sibal, Singhvi and Khurshid for their "support".

P Chidambaram surfaced at AICC headquarters on Wednesday evening after being underground and untraceable for almost 27 hours after the Delhi High Court refused to grant him anticipatory bail in the INX media case. After addressing the press, the former Minister was seen getting into his car and has reportedly gone back to his Jorbagh home. As soon as he reached his residence, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the CBI teams have reached there to question him in the INX Media case.
