'Different parties but...': Arvind Kejriwal upholds late Sheila Dikshit's legacy as Delhi CM
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Monday tweeted about former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit and said that she was loved by Delhites and deserved to be respected till the end of her last rite.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Monday tweeted about former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit and said that she was loved by Delhites and deserved to be respected till the end of her last rite.
He was responding to a Twitter comment which applauded him for showing respect to the three-time CM. "We were from different political parties but Sheila ji, being CM for 15 years, was certainly dear to Delhites and deserved all respect in her last journey," he said.
The Dikshit who had also held the post of former Kerala Governor breathed her last on Saturday noon at 3.55 pm in Delhi's Escorts Fortis hospital. She died due ailments related to old age. She was 81-years-old. Dr Ashok Seth the director of Escorts Fortis where her treatment was going on said that she suffered a cardiac arrest
Delhi CM Kejriwal who defeated her in the assembly elections and ended her streak of being the chief minister thrice tweeted paying her last respect. Expressing condolences over her death, he said her demise was a huge loss for Delhi and that her contribution will always be remembered
During the Lok Sabha elections, Kejriwal and Dikshit was involved in a friendly brawl on twiitter. While the former CM claimed that Kejriwal should not spread rumours about her health and invited him for dinner, Kejriwal said that he always prays for her good health. Dikshit lost the Lok Sabha polls to BJP's Manoj Tiwari while fighting for North East Delhi seat. Politicians across the party lines have expressed sadness over Dikshit's death and have said that she had a congenial personality.
