Rebel BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha has launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Modi over his three-nation tour to African countries even as the Parliament is in session. Taking to Twitter, Sinha took a jibe at PM Modi and said, “Dear Sir! As usual, while Parliament is in session, you are on a 3 Nation African tour. Heavens wouldn't have fallen if you'd left after the session. You could have still visited some of the nations left on the globe.Your visit to Rwanda is a first by an Indian PM Congrats!..”
Taking a jibe over Rahul Gandhi hugging PM Modi, Shatrughan Sinha said, “Now a handshake in Rwanda wud be within protocol(since your HUG is still making big news here). Interestingly you will be part of the program 'Girinka' (one cow per family) at the Genocide Memorial-a national social protection scheme personally started by Rwanda President…”
He also took a swipe on PM Modi over him gifting 200 cows to a Rwanda village saying, “back home, Opposition is in big news over lynching by Cow rakshaks”
Sinha also criticised the Prime Minister for not issuing a statement on horrific mob lynchings.
The incidents of mob lynching have rocked the entire nation with Alwar being the latest case of it. From social media rumours to cow vigilantism, scores of people so far have become the victim of lynching.
Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi is on a three-nation tour to the African countries including Rwanda, Uganda and South Africa, and on Wednesday, he landed in South Africa to take part in the 10th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg on Thursday.
