As Prime Minister Narendra Modi took on the I.N.D.I.A bloc today during his public speech in Madhya Pradesh over repeated assertions against the Sanatan Dharma, BJP President JP Nadda followed suit. He stated that the opposition I.N.D.I.A alliance ‘is only doing two things - bashing Sanatan Sanskriti and bullying the media’. He further stated that the emergency era mentality is still prevalent in these parties.

Jagat Prakash Nadda said, “These days, the I.N.D.I.A alliance is only doing two things: Bashing Sanatan Sanskriti - each party is competing to outdo the other in hurling the choicest abuses towards Sanatana Sanskriti. Bullying the media - filing FIRs, threatening individual journalists, making 'lists' in true Nazi style of who to target. The Emergency-era mindset is alive among these parties.”

Launching a sharp attack on the Congress, Nadda said, “The history of Congress has many instances of bullying the media and silencing those with differing views. Pandit Nehru curtailed free speech and arrested those who criticised him. Indira Ji remains the Gold Medal winner of how to do it - called for committed judiciary, committed bureaucracy and imposed the horrific Emergency. Rajiv Ji tried to bring media under state control but failed miserably. Sonia Ji-led UPA was banning social media handles simply because the Congress did not like their views.”

Who said what against the Sanatan Dharma?

Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin speaking at the ‘Eradicate Sanatan Dharma’ conference stated that the Sanatan Dharma should not be opposed but should be eradicated, “Some things cannot be opposed, they should be eradicated. Mosquitoes, dengue fever, malaria, and corona cannot be opposed. They should be eradicated. So should Sanatana Dharma,” said the DMK leader's son.

Karnataka Minister and the son of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge implicitly backed Stalin Jr’s remark against the Sanatan Dharma, "Any religion that does not promote equality or does not ensure that you have the dignity of being human is not a religion, according to me. Any religion that does not give equal rights or treat you like humans is as good as a disease," Kharge had said.

Ponmudy, senior DMK leader and Minister of Higher Education of Tamil Nadu in a viral video clip stated the objective of the I.N.D.I.A alliance is to annihilate the Sanatan Dharma, “Through the media and the press,  our principle of opposing Sanatana Dharma… I.N.D.I.A… our friends here have already mentioned… This I.N.D.I.A is an alliance formed against Sanatana Dharma. We may have our disagreements. But no one has any difference of opinion on opposing Sanatana Dharma. Everyone in this alliance wants to bring out equality, protect minorities, equality between men and women. This is the agenda of the 26 parties that have formed the I.N.D.I.A alliance. For this to happen, we need political power,” he said in a public programme.

Another DMK leader and MP A Raja equated Sanatan Dharma with HIV disease and also hurled abuse at the Sanatan Dharma saying it is not only bad for India but for the entire world, "Sanatana and Vishwakarma Yojana are not different, they are the same. Udhayanidhi Stalin was soft in comparing and claiming that it should be eradicated like malaria and dengue. "But these diseases don't have a social stigma. To be honest, leprosy was seen as disgusting and so was HIV. So, we need to see this as a disease ridden with social plights like HIV and leprosy."

“Indians living in other countries are also propagating caste in the name of Hindu religion, so the Hindu religion is not only a menace to India, but also to the entire world.”
