Madhya Pradesh: Congress' Computer Baba claims 4 BJP MLAs in touch with him, day after 2 others cross-vote
A day after two MP BJP MLAs voted in favour of Kamal Nath-led Congress government in the state assembly, 'Computer Baba', has claimed the four other MLAs from the saffron parties are in touch with him
A day after two Madhya Pradesh BJP MLAs - Narayan Tripathi and Sharad Kol - voted in favour of Kamal Nath-led Congress government in the state assembly on the Penal Law Amendment Bill, Congress leader Namdeo Das Tyagi, popularly known as 'Computer Baba', has claimed the four other MLAs from the saffron parties are in touch with him.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Computer Baba refused to reveal the identities of the BJP MLAs in touch with him, saying that at the right time, he will present them in front of people. As per his statement, the MLAs are in touch with him over the expectation of being included in Congress government.
"Four BJP MLAs are in contact with me, and when the time is right, I'll present them before everyone. When CM Kamal Nath tells me, I'll present them before all. They are in contact with me and are expecting that they be included in government," Computer Baba said.

The two BJP MPs who voted for Kamal Nath government in the assembly were earlier in Congress party, and are likely to return to the Grand Old Party soon, alleging that they are not liking being a part of the BJP. The BJP MLAs termed their move as their "ghar wapsi" (homecoming).
Notably, after voting in favour of Congress, Tripathi and Kol also met senior Congress leader Suresh Pachouri at his residence
This development has come amid the claims made by BJP in Madhya Pradesh that the Karnataka politics will shift to MP with the fall of Congress government due to 'infighting'. After the Kumaraswamy-led Congress-JD(S) fell in Karnataka, former MP CM and BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan claimed that internal conflict within Congress will lead to fall of the Kamal Nath government in the state.
Furthermore, BJP Madhya Pradesh chief Rakesh Singh also claimed that party is "united" in the state and there is no groupism. BJP's central leadership also took a view of its two MLAs voting for Congress. Amid these developments, Rakesh Singh also held talks with Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Leader of Opposition in the state Gopal Bhargava over the two MLAs backing Congress.
