National Approval Ratings: In Jharkhand, a rough patch for NDA as UPA projected to fly high in terms of seat-share

With the Lok Sabha elections 2019 inching closer, Republic and CVoter are back with the National Approval Ratings to give a complete picture as to who will win if polls are held today in the state of Jharkhand. The leading producer of mineral wealth, Jharkhand has a total of 14 seats in its kitty and the numbers coming in are super interesting.
PROJECTIONS:
- The BJP is projected to get a 41.8% vote share and 5 seat tally
- The Congress+JMM combine is projected to get a 46.2% vote share and an 8 seat
- The JVM is projected to get a 5.5% vote share and 1 seat tally
- Seat Share:
UPA: 8 seats
NDA: 5 seats
JVM: 1 seat
- Vote Share:
UPA: 46.2%
NDA: 41.8%
JVM: 5.5%
Total: 6.5%
COMPARISON TO PREVIOUS NUMBERS:
- The BJP has seen a consistent decline from 12 seats in 2014, to a projected 8 seats in October and then coming further down to 6 seats in November. Now, NDA has fallen down to 5 seat tally. However, on the upside, NDA vote share is projected to climb up by 1.3% compared to November
- Correspondingly, the UPA seems to be making gains from a 2 seat tally in 2014 to a 6 seat projected gain and now it has reached 8 seats in the December edition
2018 has been a blockbuster year so far as far as the political landscape of India is concerned. With the countdown to the all-important 2019 Lok Sabha polls on, and with the results out for the critical assembly elections in five states, December may just be the most important month in terms of deciding who will come up trumps in the general elections.
The results of 2019 Lok Sabha elections may or may not reflect the results or scenarios of the state assembly elections, nevertheless, to establish where we stand at present, Republic TV and CVoter has presented the National Approval Ratings.
