Sanjay Raut: ED should've discussed Sharad Pawar's name with govt
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut reacted to NCP chief Sharad Pawar's name in the case and said that ED should have discussed the matter with state government.

In the latest development in MSCB Scam Case, the Shiv Sena on Friday reacted to Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar's name coming up in the case. Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) should have discussed the matter with the government. Earlier on Thursday, the NCP supremo decided to voluntarily visit the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office.

Shiv Sena strongman and parliamentarian Sanjay Raut asserted that the MSCB Scam Case and Pawar's connection in the same should have been discussed by ED with the state government. He further said that Sharad Pawar is one of the tallest and a significant leader in Maharashtra. In addition, Raut said that Pawar's notable presence throughout Maharashtra with staunch followers will definitely react to any developments.

NCP cadre protest in Mumbai
Sharad Pawar's decision to visit the ED office on Wednesday triggered protests by NCP karyakartas who assembled outside the ED office in the financial capital. In order to avoid any outward incidents, the Mumbai Police imposed Section 144 in some areas around the city. Here's a list of places where Section 144 has been imposed:

NCP supremo in MSCB Scam
Ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly polls in October, the ED has filed a case against the NCP chief Sharad Pawar, his nephew Ajit Pawar and others in the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank (MSCB) scam case. The accused allegedly were complicit in causing losses worth Rs 1,000 crore to MSCB between 2007 and 2011.
