In a scoop by Republic Media Network, Superstar Rajinikanth and actor-turned-politician Kamal Hassan has been invited for the swearing-in of the Narendra Modi for the second term.
While Rajinikanth had announced that he will decide about the name of his party after May 23 and will contest the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, Kamal Hassan's Makkal Nidhi Maiam (MNM) contested the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections 2019 but won no seats.
Narendra Modi on May 25 also met the President to lay claim for government formation.
Prime Minister-elect Modi was on Saturday appointed prime minister by President Ram Nath Kovind after he was unanimously elected NDA parliamentary party leader at a meeting in which he asked coalition members to work without discrimination, stressing on the need to win the trust of minorities.In the general election, he led the BJP-led NDA to a landslide victory with the alliance winning 353 seats, including an unprecedented 303 by the BJP.
Earlier, after being chosen to lead the country for a second term as the Prime Minister following the stupendous victory of his party BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, PM-elect Narendra Modi posted on Instagram about being committed to the Constitution and its values.
"Our only loyalty is to the Constitution and the values enshrined in it," PM-elect Modi wrote in the caption.
