Hitting out at Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday, said that with Sushil Modi at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's side, the BJP does not have any face for the Assembly polls. He said that Modi is Kumar's man and hence BJP inspite of being the biggest political party in the world, does not have a presence in Bihar. He also alleged that Sushil Modi did not believe in PM Modi. He also added that the deputy CM had no decision making power.
Tejashwi hits out at Sushil Modi
"Sushil Modi does not have decision making power. It means that he does not believe on the face of Narendra Modi. BJP should think that it is the biggest political party in the world and it does not have a face in Bihar. Sushil Modi is not in the BJP but on the side of Nitish Kumar's party and Nitish's man. Everybody knows this. Even BJP leaders say this. That's why BJP does not have a face in Bihar," he told to ANI in Patna.
Sushil Modi calls Nitish NDA captain
Earlier on Wednesday, Sushil Modi had endorsed Nitish Kumar's 2020 campaign calling him the 'NDA captain'. He had tweeted that Kumar was the NDA captain in Bihar and will remain to do so in 2020. He also claimed that when the Captain was defeating rivals with fours and sixes, giving a cricket-twist, there was no question of replacement. Kumar had recently launched his 2020 campaign.
@NitishKumar is the Captain of NDA in Bihar & will remain its Captain in next assembly elections in 2020 also. When Captain is hitting 4 & 6 & defeating rivals by inning where is the Q of any change.

Meanwhile, in response to Modi's tweet, Yadav said that if Nitish Kumar was batting so well then why had he asked for votes in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi instead of his work. He also suggested that Kumar move to Delhi and fix the economy, based on his performance. Meanwhile, Sanjay Paswan, a member of the state legislative council had said the BJP entrusted Nitish Kumar with the Chief Minister's post for 15 long years. Paswan said that now Kumar should reciprocate the gesture - making BJP's foray into Bihar.
It means If he is Captain then PM is Coach & u don’t believe on the face of @narendramodi ji. Why this batsman even after 15 yrs of CMship always need a runner, believes in match fixing & player poaching? Why he kicked out BJP in 2013?He asked for votes on the name of PM not his https://t.co/PQcAgMwUFB

Bihar assembly elections
With a total of 243 seats in Bihar assembly, the state goes to polls in the upcoming year (October-November). While the ruling alliance of JD(U) and BJP are reportedly having internal tussles, the Opposition alliance - the Mahagathbandhan appears to be directionless after the massive poll drubbing in the general elections 2019. Lalu Yadav's party failed to open its account in the general elections and Nitish Kumar is facing anti-incumbency. With JD(U) VP's strategy team working with Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal, Nitish Kumar speaking against the BJP on various issues and the repeated invitations by the RJD to Kumar for rejoining the Mahagathbandhan, the poll-season in Bihar piques interest.
