Jhansi: A massive fire erupted in the infant ward of Jhansi Medical College in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, claiming the lives of 10 children while many others suffered burn injuries.Jhansi police said that the fire brigade was rushed to the spot while senior officers of the district also reached the medical college. According to the officials, the evacuation process is still underway. Total 54 Children were admitted at the time of incident: Jhansi CMO Jhansi Chief Medical officer Sachin Mahor said that 54 children were admitted at the time of fire incident. “10 lost their lives, while rest are undergoing treatment,” he said.
