6 Vande Bharat, 2 Amrit Bharat: Full list of trains to be flagged off by PM Modi on Dec 30

Ayodhya: In a grand initiative aligning with his vision for contemporary infrastructure intertwined with historical heritage, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch a series of development projects valued at over ₹15,700 crore during his visit to Ayodhya.

Development vision for Ayodhya 

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) states that the development vision for Ayodhya encompasses modern infrastructure, improved connectivity, and the revitalization of civic amenities, all while preserving the city's rich historical and cultural legacy believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram.

Scheduled for launch at 11:15 am, Modi is set to inaugurate the Amrit Bharat trains, introducing a new class of high-speed passenger trains nationwide. 

The trains, including Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal and Malda Town-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express, promise enhanced passenger experiences with upgraded amenities.

Additionally, six new Vande Bharat trains are slated for inauguration, spanning routes like Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi, Amritsar-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt, Mangalore-Madgaon, and Jalna-Mumbai.

The visit also includes the inauguration of Ayodhya Airport, named after sage poet Maharishi Valmiki, and railway projects worth ₹2300 crore. 

These projects encompass the Rooma Chakeri-Chanderi third line project, segments of the Jaunpur-Ayodhya-Barabanki doubling project, and the doubling/electrification project of the Malhaur-Daliganj railway section.

Furthermore, initiatives for tourist amenities, greenfield townships, and residential schemes valued at over ₹2180 crore and ₹300 crore, respectively, will be launched. 

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for various infrastructure projects, including the Lucknow-Ayodhya section of NH-28, modification of the existing Ayodhya bypass, CIPET center, and offices for the Municipal Corporation Ayodhya and Ayodhya Development Authority.
