60-yr-old woman gang-raped, private parts cut with knife, throat slit, dumped in Bihar

Patna: Bihar Police arrested four men for allegedly gang-raping and murdering a 60-year-old woman in the state's Nawada district on December 26.

The woman, who was a resident of Gaya, along with her husband was on her way to her maternal house in Akbarpur. Reportedly, the auto driver abruptly sped away with the elderly woman on board. She was joined by four others in the rickshaw, who took her to a deserted place and allegedly gang-raped her.  

The five accused after gang-raping the senior citizen, allegedly sliced her private parts with a knife, slit her throat and later dumped her body, which was later recovered from the Town Police Station area. 

Cops said the woman's husband filed an FIR. However, the fifth accused remains at large and the hunt to nab him is on.
