Independence Day 2024: Major iconic, historical buildings and places of national importance across the country are being illuminated ahead of the 78th Independence Day, to be celebrated on August 15. Like every year, Independence Day celebrations will be flagged off with Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort.
Ahead of the key day, the Secretariat building and Tripura Legislative Assembly have been illuminated ahead of the 78th Independence Day in Agartala, Tripura.
In Maharashtra's Nashik, Gangapur Dam has been illuminated with tricolour ahead of the Independence Day.
In Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag, Martand Sun Temple located in Mattan has been illuminated.
Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha and Charbagh Railway Station have been illuminated ahead of the key day.
