Animal rescuer captures 14 foot long King Cobra in Assam, Netizens in awe
A gigantic King Cobra weighing almost 33 kilograms and 14 ft long was captured in the Jiajuri Tea plantation, Chapanaola in Nagaon on July 5.

A gigantic King Cobra weighing almost 33 kilograms and 14 ft long was captured in the Jiajuri Tea plantation, Chapanaola in Nagaon on July 5.
The Cobra was spotted by the tea garden laborers two days back following which they summoned the animal rescuer Dulu Bora, who was hired by the garden management. He captured the snake a struggle of almost three hours. Believed to be one of the longest and heaviest ever caught in Assam of that species, the snake was later relapsed in Suwang reserve Forest nearby.
The capture of the giant reptile creature evoked all sorts of emotions from the netizens, while some were mesmerized by its size and length, some engaged in praising its magnificence and beauty while some were happy that the capture of the wild creature did not end up in its caging and it was thus released in the open.
