IAS Success Story: As the youngest IAS Officer in India, Ansar Shaikh's path is inspiring, characterized by remarkable talent and unwavering commitment. Despite facing challenges, at the age of just 21, he achieved an outstanding All India Rank of 361 in the 2016 IAS Exam, beating out Roman Saini, who was 22 at the time he became an IAS officer. Shaikh, who is currently the ADM in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, has his origins in the Jalna town of Maharashtra, where he was raised by autorickshaw driver and field laborer parents who valued education even in the face of hard times.

Ansar, who did well in school, shows that perseverance pays off in the face of adversity and the strength of a solid support network. Ansar Shaikh: Academically Gifted

Academically gifted, Ansar scored an astounding 91% in his tenth-grade exams. He then went on to Pune College to finish his undergraduate studies. Ansar wisely chose Political Science as his optional subject and chose Marathi as the language for both the UPSC Mains exam and the interview, exhibiting a well-thought-out strategy that greatly aided in his success.

Ansar Shaikh: Hardships

Ansar's story is characterized by his unwavering belief in the power of hard work and dedication. He had to deal with financial difficulties, but he received crucial support from friends and his coaching institute, which emphasizes the value of resilience and having a strong support system. Ansar experienced many hardships as a young child. Due to financial constraints, his brother had to drop out of school in the seventh grade and start working at a garage to support the family. In addition, his sister got married off at the young age of 15.

Ansar overcame these enormous obstacles and stayed dedicated to his studies in spite of them, passing one of the hardest exams in the world in a process that has inspired a great number of people across the country.
