Delhi Chief Minister and the President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Arvind Kejriwal, on Friday, made a few announcements in order to curb the air pollution levels in the National capital. Addressing the media in a press conference, he revealed that the Odd-Even rule will return to Delhi between November 4 to November 15. He has also requested the residents of Delhi to not burn firecrackers this Diwali, reminding them of the Supreme Court order. He further added that the Delhi Government will be organizing a large scale laser show so that the entire city of Delhi can celebrate Diwali together.
Reactions on Twitter
The request to not burn firecrackers got a number of responses from users on Twitter who had mixed reactions. One user was disappointed with the request to ban firecrackers and asked how the people aren't allowed to celebrate their own festival.

Another Twitter user was really upset with the announcement and took on a tone of vengeance in order to defy the request of the Chief Minister and the order of the Supreme Court.
I haven't used fire crackers for the longest period but since kejriwal is saying this year definitely I am gonna do it...

No firecrackers; Government will organize a laser show
Kejriwal explained that the government will be organizing a massive laser show on Chotti Diwali and asked the entire city to join in and celebrate the occasion. The entry for the laser show will be free. The Supreme Court of India, in 2018, set a ban on firecrackers allowing just a two hour period between 8pm-10pm during Diwali.
