Anticipation builds as Ayodhya prepares for the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir on January 22 next year. Anuradha Timbers International, a Hyderabad-based company, is tirelessly crafting the temple's intricate doors. The team of artists are working around the clock to ensure their timely completion. In an exclusive interview with Republic Media Network, Sarath Babu, the owner of Anuradha Timbers, revealed that their team is meticulously crafting all the main doors for the Ram Temple, including those for the Santam Santorum.

Currently, the company has successfully fabricated a total of 18 main doors, with an additional 100 frames earmarked for the temple are completed. The focus has now shifted to the meticulous process of gold plating these creations. The installation of these meticulously crafted doors is slated to commence on January 1, 2024.

Sarath Babu emphasised their dedication to using high-quality wood and traditional carving techniques in producing these doors for the Ram Lalla temple, all of which are meticulously handmade. “These designs, crafted in the Nagarshaili or Nagara style, predominantly feature motifs such as elephants, peacocks, lotuses, and various iconography such as Devata, all conceived by the revered Sompoora architects, who specialise in traditional architectural designs,” he added.

The workforce dedicated to this endeavor consists of approximately 60 individuals stationed at Ayodhya. Talking about the timeline of crafting the doors of the grand temple, the owner of Anuradha Timbers noted that the work commenced in June and concluded by November this year. “The fitting of the doors is going to take place in the next phase. With a total of 118 door constructions completed thus far, with plans to produce an additional 100-200 door frames based on future requirements,” he added.

Sarath Babu also spoke about an exceptional creation, a 3D depiction of a Lord Ram statue which is an original art portraying Lord Ram's return from Lanka to Ayodhya post-victory. Crafted from a thousand-year-old Barma teak wood log and entirely hand-carved, half of this statue's construction is finished. While its placement in Ayodhya remains uncertain, Babu shared that upon witnessing the statue, the Ayodhya Ram Temple construction team insisted on its inclusion, prompting Anuradha Timbers International's immediate efforts towards its completion.
