BIG WIN: Security forces kill two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists in J&K's Sopore
Two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists have been neutralised by security forces in Warpora area in Sopore district of North Kashmir on Friday after an encounter operation of 18 long hours.

The security and J-K police forces jointly conducted a cordon and search operation in Warpora area in Sopore district of North Kashmir. An operation was carried after credible information about the presence of terrorists.
The forces were fired upon by the terrorists which led to firing between them ending up in the terrorists being killed.
The bodies of the terrorists have been retrieved from the encounter site and remain to be identified.
Arms and weapons including two AK-47 rifles were recovered in the operation by the forces. The search operation is still going on.
Police has registered a case and initiated an investigation in the matter.
DIG North Kashmir Atul Kumar Goel said to ANI, " Two top terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed were eliminated. There was no collateral damage & no injuries to security personnel. Identities yet to be ascertained. The public is requested not to venture into the operational area until it is sanitised."
The forces have asked the citizens to not venture inside the encounter zone since such an area can prove dangerous due to stray explosive materials.
They have been requested to cooperate with the police till the area is completely sanitized and cleared of all the explosive materials if any.
Earlier on Friday, Uttar Pradesh ATS arrested suspected Jaish terrorists. One of them is suspected to be a recruiter for Jaish-e-Mohammed.
The DIG from UP ATS, OP Singh, during a press conference said that the two terrorists were living as students and were planning to recruit from the region.
"We sent IG ATS there and in the operation we have nabbed two suspects. They are associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed. Their names are Shahnawaz who is from Kulgam, and Aqeeb Ahmed Malik from Pulwama. Shahnawaz is an active member of Jaish-e-Mohammed. He has been tasked with recruiting for JeM from Sahrahpur," he said.
The National Investigation Agency has officially registered the first FIR in the Pulwama terror attack on Wednesday. After a notification coming from the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday night, the NIA registered the FIR in the Pulwama attack case against unknown people.
The case is against unknown people as the probe is still going on and one terrorist Mudasir Ahmed from JeM who is believed to be a part of the module that carried the attack is on the lookout. The NIA has started preliminary investigation along with the NSG.
