Bihar Shocker: 3-Year-Old Girl Shot Dead In Danapur, Assailants At Large
According to the police, the girl was shot in her chest and was brought to the hospital where she died during the treatment.
Danapur (Bihar): In a horrific incident, a three-year-old girl was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Bihar’s Danapur on Wednesday.
According to the police, the girl was shot in her chest and was brought to the hospital where she died during the treatment.
Police officials said that a search operation is underway for the assailants and CCTV footage of the surrounding areas is being looked at and the motive behind the killing is yet to be ascertained.
A team of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) also inspected the spot.
“A case has been registered under Section 103 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway,” ASP Deekhsha said.
Earlier, a woman, who was set to appear in court as a witness to her husband's murder in 2018, was shot dead in the Nawada district of Bihar.
The murder incident took place in the Mufassil police station area when Mamta Devi of Daulatpur village was returning to Nawada on a bike with her brother-in-law on Monday night. Mamta was scheduled to testify in court on July 3.
