Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Osaka, Japan, on 27 June to attend the G20 Summit, just over a month after achieving a landslide victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. At the summit, he will be holding a series of meeting, from bilaterals with assembled world leaders to multilaterals such as with the JAI (Japan-America-India) and BRICS groupings, on 28 June.Â

At the summit, he will be holding a series of meeting, from bilaterals with assembled world leaders to multilaterals such as with the JAI (Japan-America-India) and BRICS groupings, on 28 June.
PM Modi will address important issues that will aim at deepening the strategic ties between India and other countries along with raising matters on economic offenders and fugitives, terrorism, strengthening economic ties among other important issues, as per inputs.

There will be four sessions as a part of the summit namely global economy, trade, and investment, innovation in the digital economy and artificial intelligence. Other topics will include free trade and economic growth, including taxation, finance, inclusive and sustainable world, energy and environment, society quality infrastructure, global health, aging, climate change, and marine plastic waste.
