Bilaterals with Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin and Ashraf Ghani on PM Modi's agenda at SCO Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Schedule here

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the 19th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit at Kyrgyzstan on Thursday on a two-day visit. 

At the sidelines of the Summit, PM Modi is scheduled to hold three back to back bilateral meetings with the leaders of Russia, China, and Afghanistan. 

Here is PM Modi's schedule for Thursday- 

• He will fly out of New Delhi at 7 AM IST and as per confirmation from government officials, he will not be using the Pakistani airspace for his journey. He will fly over Oman, Iran, and Central Asian countries. 
• He is scheduled to arrive the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek at 3 PM IST
• On his arrival, PM Modi will hold bilateral meet with the President of China, Xi Jinping at 1650 local time.
• Following that, PM Modi will hold bilateral meet with the Russian President Vladimir Putin at 1730 local time. 
• At 1800 local time, PM Modi will attend the SCO dinner hosted for the member-nations.
• The third bilateral meet will be held with the President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani.

The event will also be held by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. 

The SCO summit in Bishkek this week would discuss economy-related issues and security cooperation with a focus on counter-terrorism, China said. 

Briefing journalists here on the SCO summit, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Hanhui said the meeting would review the past year's work of the grouping and draw up a plan for cooperation this year. 

The SCO is a China-led eight-member economic and security bloc. Its founding members include China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. India and Pakistan were admitted to the Beijing-based regional security grouping in 2017. 

This week's SCO summit will be the first major international event being attended by Modi after his re-election. 

In recent years the SCO has made counterterrorism cooperation one of its main focus areas. The organisation in recent years built up Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) which focusses on periodic counter-terrorism exercises involving the member countries.
