NEET-PG 2024 Entrance Exam Held In Two Shifts Across 170 Cities
The NEET-PG 2024 was successfully conducted in two shifts at 416 centres across 170 cities on Sunday by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, an autonomous body under the Union health ministry. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET-PG) is a medical entrance exam. It was scheduled to be held on June 23 but was postponed as a “precautionary measure” in the wake of allegations on the integrity of certain competitive exams.

Amarnath Yatra has been suspended for tomorrow on the Baltal Axis to carry out maintenance work following heavy rains on August 11, from both Pahalgam and Baltal Axis.
"Due to the heavy rains today, urgent repair and maintenance works are required to be undertaken on the Baltal Axis of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra route. In the interest of the safety of the yatris, no Yatra will be allowed tomorrow from the Baltal route also. Further updates will be issued in due course of time", the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri said.

The questions of the students have been heard and answers have also been given to them. Students can contact us at any time with any problem. Students of any college can meet us for any problem. The appeal to the students is that if you have any input, then share it with us. Their (students) demand was that the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Chandan Guha) posted on duty on the night of the incident should be removed from the post, so we have removed him. When they (students) will end their protest is up to them but the police-administration has full support. They can contact us with any problem without hesitation," Goyal said.

Hospital Services Affected in West Bengal as Doctors Hold Protest Over Murder of Woman Doctor
Protests demanding quick punishment of those responsible for the rape and murder of a woman doctor inside a Kolkata hospital continued for the third day on Sunday, affecting services in government hospitals across West Bengal.
Junior doctors, house staff and post-graduate trainees (PGT) at various state-run hospitals are also demanding security for them in the medical establishments.
None of them joined duties on Sunday, as the authorities in various hospitals are facing problems in providing service to patients, officials said.
