Senior Congress leader and National Spokesperson, Abhishek Singhvi on Friday went poetic over the Maharashtra deadlock situation where the Mahayuti alliance of BJP and Shiv Sena have still not formed the government. Singhvi on Friday took to Twitter to say that the current situation in Maharashtra where Shiv Sena is hiding their MLAs reminds him of a Hindi proverb. The tweet comes after Shiv Sena moved its MLAs to Rang Sharda hotel in Mumbai. Earlier in the day, Congress MP had alleged that the BJP is trying to horse-trade MLAs to secure majority in the state.

शिव सेना को भाजपा से अपने विधायक छुपाते देख कर शेर याद आ रहा है:

Uddhav Thackeray breaks silence
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray in a press briefing reflected upon the moving of Shiv Sena MLAs to Rang Sharda Hotel. The Sena chief said that the MLAs belonged to his party and it was his wish to keep the MLAs wherever he wants. Thackeray also launched an attack against BJP and Devendra Fadnavis and said, "The public knows who has been lying since 'ache din' or be it 'demonetisation.' Fadnavis spoke about Shiv Sena attacking PM Modi but when did I speak against the PM? We have never made personal attacks against PM Modi and I can never do it because he has called me a 'younger brother.' Some people cannot digest the fact that we have such good relations."
Fadnavis denies 50-50 formula talks with Sena
Earlier in the day, Devendra Fadnavis had alleged that there were no talks of 50-50 formula with the Shiv Sena in front of him. "I am making this clear that there were no talks of 50-50 formula between the BJP-Sena and no promises of 2.5-year tenure of Chief Minister from each party were also made. I am unaware of such any talks between Sena and BJP because they were not done in front of me. If there were talks between Amit Shah and Uddhav Thackeray then I am not in a position to comment because they did not take place in front of me. I have had very personal relations with Uddhav Thackeray. I personally made calls to Uddhav Thackeray but he did not receive my calls," he said in the press briefing post his resignation.
