Dawood Ibrahim's poisoning news false, claims his relative

After social media reports claimed that underworld fugitive Don Dawood Ibrahim was admitted at a hospital in Pakistan Karachi due to health complications, the relative of Dawood have dismissed the claims on Monday, December 18. Reports suggested that Dawood Ibrahimm was poisoned by unknown people. 

While speaking with Republic, relative of Dawood claimed that he had not been poisoned and called the reports claiming the same false. “News of poisoning is not correct. Also, we are not aware about his whereabouts,” said one of his relatives to Republic. 

Earlier, reports claimed that Dawood was admitted to a hospital in Karachi after he was poisoned, however, there has been no confirmation from the Pakistan government or the hospital authorities. 

Dawood Ibrahim has been designated as India's most wanted terrorist by the law enforcement agencies. 1993 Mumbai blasts mastermind and involved in 2008 Lashkar-e-Taiba’s attack on Mumbai which involved the siege of iconic Taj Hotel.
