New Delhi: As the Enforcement Directorate (ED) moved Delhi High Court opposing trial court's bail order, Sunita Kejriwal on Friday, June 21, said that the probe agency is behaving as if Arvind Kejriwal is a terrorist. Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal in the money laundering case stemming from the alleged excise scam.

Arvind Kejriwal was expected to walk out of the Tihar jail on Friday, where he is currently lodged. However, the ED approached the Delhi High Court requesting an urgent hearing in the matter. The ED has challenged a trial court's Thursday order by which the AAP supremo was granted bail.

Responding on the same, Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal said, “Even before Kejriwal's bail order was uploaded, ED reached HC; they are behaving as if he is a terrorist.”

Sunita Kejriwal said that the ED challenged her husband's bail order even before it was uploaded on the trial court's website. Speaking in south Delhi's Bhogal where Delhi Water Minister Atishi began an indefinite hunger strike to get more water from Haryana, Sunita Kejriwal said that the Delhi CM was being treated as a "most wanted terrorist".

The ED had arrested Kejriwal on March 21, shortly after the Delhi High Court refused to grant him protection from arrest on his petition challenging summonses issued to him.
