In the tweet, he wrote how the security forces are tussling terrorism and security situations in Jammu and Kashmir, insurgency North-East, Naxalists and Maoists. He even addressed the global counter-terrorism operations, citing how Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria have been overpowered. North-east India and Indo-Myanmar border The Home Minister said that there has been an improvement in the North-east India region with a lessening of the occurrence of violence in 2018 by 17%, and 38% reduction in civilian deaths. Security scenario in the North-East region has witnessed steady improvement in recent years. The incidents of violence have come down and the situation has further improved in 2018.
