Gautam Gambhir extends support to woman seeking help for ailing father

Gautam Gambhir, in a heartwarming instance, responds to social media user Unnati Madan's plea to help her ailing father who is suffering from organ infection

Social media user Unnati Madan tweeted to Cricketer Gautam Gambhir in a plea to help her ailing father. Unnati Madan tweeted that her father was suffering from body infections which were affecting his organs. Madan stated that her father was released from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) due to unavailability of beds. In a cry for help, she stated how she does not have the financial abilities to support her father through private treatment. Furthermore, she spoke of the conditions of the governmental hospitals stating that her father's condition is worsening by the day.

Gautam Gambhir responds 

Gautam Gambhir, cricketer and member of the BJP, immediately responded to Unnati Madan's plea. He asked her to forward her number so that he can seek redressal for her grievances. Through this heartwarming gesture, Gambhir extended a helping hand. Twitter users immediately reacted favourably to Gambhir's response in not denying Madan the required help.

Gautam Gambhir had earlier retired from international cricket last year. He contested for the East Delhi Constituency tasting victory in the very first instance. Gambhir had won the elections by a margin of 3.91 lakh votes. Ever since, he has been busy making changes in the country, giving cricket a break.
