Ghaziabad: In a disturbing incident, a maid working for a family in Ghaziabad’s Crossings Republik area has been arrested for a bizarre and shocking act—preparing food using her urine. The maid, identified as Reena, had been employed at the home for the past eight years before her horrifying actions came to light.

The incident was discovered after the family began suffering from recurring health issues, particularly liver infections. They had initially suspected theft, leading them to install a hidden camera in their kitchen. However, the footage they obtained revealed something far worse.

In that shocking video which they got through the camera, the family found out that Reena is preparing food with her Urine. She was caught red handed while she was urinating in a vessel and then preparing food with that. This all took place on Monday, leaving the family and the entire community in shock.

Police Filed an FIR

According to the family, the video recorded on their hidden camera showed Reena urinating in a kitchen vessel and then using that same vessel to knead dough for food preparation. Horrified by what they saw, the family immediately filed a police complaint against her.

The local police have registered an FIR in the case, and Reena was taken into custody. The video left the family members shocked and they immediately filed a complaint against Reena, and the Police has registered an FIR in this case 

Doctors treating the family had previously warned them that their illness could be linked to poor hygiene. During the treatment, doctors told the family that the reason for their continuous sickness could be uncleanliness. Substances like urine, if consumed, can prove to be harmful and lead to various health-related problems like stomach infection and diarrhea.

During questioning, Reena confessed to the incident, revealing that her employer closely monitored her and frequently scolded her for minor errors. In retaliation, she admitted to mixing urine with the flour on several occasions while preparing rotis.

A case has been filed against Reena under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS). The police have also initiated an investigation to determine if she has a prior criminal record.
