Ghaziabad railway station on high alert as intel hints terror strike

After the Intelligence Bureau (IB) issued an intel regarding a possible terror strike, the Ghaziabad railway station was put on high alert on Thursday. The police have already been alerted and have deployed dog squads on the railway station while the bomb disposal squads have been put on stand up.
National Capital also put on high alert
RP Tripathi, a railway official, stated, "From inside the trains to outside the railway station, the police have already been deployed. The Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) are completely equipped to tackle any situation."
The national capital has also been put on alert after intel was received about a possible terror strike ahead of the festive season. In order to counter the possible terror activities in Delhi, the Delhi Police have been carrying out raids at several places in the city. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Mandeep Singh Randhawa while speaking to the media said that the Delhi Police has been put on high alert along with the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) on stand by. Police deployment and patrolling have also increased in the national capital, Randhawa added. The police also confirmed that so far raids have been conducted in around nine to ten locations without anyone being arrested.
JeM meeting held in Kashmir: Sources
According to sources, there was an input stating a possible security threat to Kashmir and Delhi. Sources also stated that a meeting was held at an apple orchard in Bandipore district of Kashmir by Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander Abu Usman and three JeM cadets. It also stated that one foreign tourist and three Kashmiri militants were present in the meeting with the JeM commander. In the meeting, JeM commander Usman also claimed that "Our brothers have already reached these places." The JeM commander was seen carrying a sniper with him and the other three had AK 47 rifles, pistols, and hand grenades
