3 Killed, 5 Rescued After Building Collapse in Gujarat amid Heavy Rain

Gujarat: Three women lost their lives after a three-storery building collapsed in Gujarat's Jam Khambhalia town amid heavy rain. 

The building had collapsed last evening and the rescue operations went on for hours; five people were rescued from the rubble.

An elderly woman and her two granddaughters were killed after a dilapidated three-storey building collapsed in Jam Khambhalia town in Gujarat's Devbhumi Dwarka district amid heavy rainfall in the state's Saurashtra region, police said on Wednesday.

Gujarat Building Collapse: 5 Rescued after 6-Hour-Long Operation

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening in Gagwani Fali locality of the town and bodies of the three victims were brought out after a nearly six-hour-long rescue operation that continued till midnight, and five persons were rescued, they said.
