Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign: 600-Foot-Long Tricolour Paraded In Arunachal's Seppa, PM Modi Reacts
A 600-foot Tiranga was paraded in Seppa, Arunachal Pradesh, with 2,000 students, celebrating Independence Day and patriotism.
The 78th Independence Day of India is just two nights away, and the whole country is ready to celebrate the festival of democracy. Following this, a 600-foot-long Tiranga was paraded through the streets of Seppa in the East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday. This was done under the Har Ghar Tiranga program launched by the Indian government.
The event featured over 2,000 students from local schools, as well as Home Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Mama Natung, MLA Hayeng Mangfi, and other officials. During the Tiranga Path Yatra, everyone chanted “Vande Mataram” while holding the tricolor high over their heads.
Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, shared the video on X and wrote, “हमारी शान तिरंगा. A grand 600-ft Tiranga Yatra was held in Seppa, East Kameng, under the Har Ghar Tiranga Program. Hon. Min. Shri @NatungMama, Hon. MLAs Shri Ealling Tallang, and Shri Hayeng Mangfi were present.”
Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also quoted the post and shared it, saying, “Arunachal Pradesh is a land where patriotism is deeply rooted in the heart of every citizen. This is clearly reflected in the state's vibrant cultural heritage. Glad to see such enthusiasm.”
Mama Natung also shared a post from their official handle on X and wrote, “#हर_घर_तिरंगा_अभियान! Organized in a #हर_घर_तिरंगा Tiranga Yatra public rally with a 600-ft Tiranga in Seppa, East Kameng District of #ArunachalPradesh, celebrating the spirit of freedom, patriotism, and nationalism; accompanied by HMLAs @EalingTallang1 Ji, @HayengM Ji, @sachinranaiasAP, @SPEastKameng, District Administration, BJP karyakartas & all stakeholders. A cleanliness drive was also conducted at the general ground of Seppa to promote.”
