Haryana: Stones pelted at women going for puja in Nuh, 3 injured

Nuh: Tension escalated in Haryana's Nuh on Thursday after as many as three women were injured when some unidentified children allegedly pelted stones at them from a madrasa, news agency PTI reported, citing police officials.The incident took place near a mosque around 8.20 pm on Thursday when a group of women were on their way for a 'kuan (well) poojan'. The stones were allegedly hurled at them by some children when they reached the madrasa. People from both communities gathered here in this regard. FIR is being registered... We appeal to the people to maintain peace. Relevant action will be taken.
