The Election Commission announced the poll schedules for the states of Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana on Saturday during a press briefing in New Delhi. Election Commissioner OP Rawat also spoke about the Voters’ assistance booths, changes in the nomination procedure and model code of conduct. Here's everything you need to know:

1. Chhattisgarh Poll Schedule:

The election in Chhattisgarh will take place in two phases. The election dates are as follows:

  • Phase 1: 12th November 
  • Phase 2: 20th November

2. Madhya Pradesh Poll Schedule:

The election in the state of Madhya Pradesh will take place in single place. The election date is as follows

  • Single phase: 28th November

3. Mizoram Poll Schedule:

The election in the state of Mizoram will take place in single place. The election date is as follows:

  • Single phase: 28th November

4. Rajasthan Poll Schedule: 

The election in the state of Rajasthan will take place in single place. The election date is as follows:

  • Single phase: 7th December

5. Telangana Poll Schedule: 

The election in the state of Telangana will take place in single place. The election date is as follows:

  • Single phase: 7th December

Counting of votes to commence from 11th December 2018
