1. The “Howdy, Modi! Shared Dreams, Bright Futures” Community Summit attendees represent 48 States, all
coming together to enhance the shared values and aspirations of the two great nations whose partnership is
crucial to global peace, prosperity, and human progress.
2. The “Howdy, Modi” event is being organised with the help of more than 1,000 volunteers and 650 Texas-based Welcome Partner organisations which represent the Indian-American community across the US and Canada.
3. The Indian-American individuals and the diaspora came together to fund this event offering it free to the public.
4. The live broadcast is expected to reach up to half a billion people across the world.

PM Modi's US visit
In his US visit starting from Sunday, September 22, PM Modi is scheduled to take part in a series of events, the crucial one being the 'Howdy, Modi!' event and the address at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 27. The Prime Minister on Monday will attend a Climate Action summit which is going to highlight India's commitment to fighting climate change. On Tuesday, he is scheduled to attend an event celebrating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
