I-Day 2023: PM Modi gives ‘demography, democracy, diversity’ message to India’s youth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday while addressing the nation from Red Fort in Delhi, on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day, said that India has "demography, democracy and diversity" and these factors have the potential to realise the dreams of the country. 

“The trinity of demography, democracy and diversity have the ability to realise the dreams of the nation," PM Modi said in his address to the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort celebrating 76 years of India’s independence. 

PM Modi on tremendous opportunities with India 

Stating that the decisions taken by India will impact its future, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that there is a tremendous opportunity before the country due to the trinity of democracy, demography and diversity. “ What we do in this era, the steps we take, and the decisions we take will decide the direction, future of the country in the coming 1000 years.”

PM Modi’s special message to India’s youth 

Mentioning the youth of the country, PM Modi said, "There is no dearth of opportunities in the country. The country has the ability to provide endless opportunities." Adding that the ball is in India's court and the country should not let go of the opportunity, PM Modi said, "No ifs and buts on anyone's mind about India's capabilities." 

"I can see that the country has an opportunity before it; this is the first year of Amrit Kaal - we are either living in our youth or have taken birth in the lap of Maa Bharti. What we do in this era, the steps we take, the decisions we make, will decide the golden history of the country," added PM Modi.
