Imran Khan mimics Bilawal Zardari; PPP President hits back in a tweet

A video of Prime Minister Imran Khan mimicking Pakistan Peoples Party President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and making fun of his statements has emerged online and has gone viral. In the video, the Pakistan Prime Minister can be seen making fun of Bilawal Zardari's theory on water. 

'Bilawal startled scientists worldwide'

Prime Minister Imran Khan said, "Bilawal has startled scientists worldwide by saying ‘jab barish hoti hai to pani ata hai’ (water pours when it rains).” But Einstein rolled over in his grave when he (Bilawal) went on to say ‘Jab Ziada Barish Hota hai to Ziada pani ata hai’ (More water comes when it rains more)," he said. The Prime Minister also slammed Bilawal Zardari and said that he is a corrupt leader. "Bilawal claims to be a liberal but he is nothing but liberally corrupt,” said Imran Khan.

Bilawal Zardari hits back

Responding to the Prime Minister's claims, Bilawal Zardari said, "Neither am I a liberal nor am I corrupt and certainly am not a hypocrite, I am a visionary and progressionist who has been in politics for more than a year. You are a 70-year-old elderly man who has been exercising ‘selected’ politics for more than 20 years. If you have any identity, it is of taking U-turns and being a hypocrite and puppet,” Zardari said on Twitter. 

Earlier, opposition parties held nationwide protests demanding resignation from Prime Minister Imran Khan. Maulana Fazlur Rehman, a right-wing Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) leader, and his supporters have launched an "Azadi March" against Imran Khan government accusing him of rigging the 2018 general elections. The protestors have termed his government illegitimate and incompetent. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said at a public address that the government negotiators should not come for talks if the Prime Minister's resignation is off the table. Responding to the incident, Pakistan Army spokesman Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said, "We are too busy in matters of national security and defence to become involved in things like these and respond to these allegations. The dharna is a political activity that the army as an institution has nothing to do with."
