Ladli Bahna Yojana aid will be gradually increased to Rs 5,000: MP CM

The monthly financial assistance being given to eligible women in Madhya Pradesh under the Ladli Bahna Yojana will gradually go up to Rs 5,000, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Saturday.

The state government currently transfers Rs 1,250 per month to bank accounts of women beneficiaries of this scheme, launched ahead of last year's assembly elections.

"Sisters, did anyone ever deposit money in your account? Ask this to the Congress people. You (Congress) used to loot and snatch from people," Yadav said while addressing a rally in the Budhni assembly seat, where a bypoll will be held on November 13.

He said the Congress had alleged that the monthly cash transfer scheme was launched by then CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the elections and it would be discontinued.

"You (Congress) keep making noise, we will keep giving (depositing money in bank accounts). The BJP government kept depositing Rs 1,250. The government will deposit Rs 1,250 today...it will keep increasing (the monthly assistance) from Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000. This is the government's policy," the chief minister said.

Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Rathore Saturday said RLP MP Hanuman Beniwal will benefit if his wife Kanika Beniwal loses the Khinvsar assembly bypoll as she can then be at home and take care of their children.

Kanika Beniwal is contesting the November 13 bypoll as RLP candidate.

Rathore wondered if both Beniwal and his wife keep doing politics, then what will happen to their family? "I saw on social media that he (Hanuman Beniwal) was worried that if his wife does not win, she will go to her 'peehar' (parent's house). Brother, when you felt so threatened, why did you take such a risk (of fielding wife in bypolls)?" he asked.

Rathore then went on to say, "You (Hanuman Beniwal) know that she cannot win. But I have a piece of advice. Hanumanji you will benefit if your wife loses. She can go to her parent's house or wherever she goes, she will take care of the children." "Is it not necessary to take care of the children? If both of you keep doing politics, then what will happen to the family? This needs to be understood," he said.

With over four lakh participants, national learning week gets encouraging response: Centre

Over four lakh government employees prioritised professional development by dedicating at least four hours to learning during the recently concluded national learning week, the Centre has said.

For one week, from October 19 to 27, India's government workforce came together in an extraordinary journey of learning and growth through "Karmayogi Saptah", a national learning week initiative, it said.

"This wasn't simply about completing courses — it was a movement that brought public servants across departments closer in their shared pursuit of professional excellence and personal development. Through Karmayogi Saptah, government employees — from the youngest officers to senior officials — stepped forward, committing to enrich their skills and mindsets for a changing world," said the statement issued by the Personnel Ministry.

Karmayogi Saptah’s impact is clear in its numbers - with a staggering 45.6 lakh course enrolments, 32.6 lakh completions and more than 38 lakh learning hours, the event set a precedent for large-scale, impactful learning initiatives, it said.

The week saw 4.3 lakh participants dedicating at least four hours to learning, while 37,000 Group A officers, along with many senior officials, prioritized professional development, the statement said.

Tripura CM expresses concern over attacks on believers of Sanatan Dharma in Bangladesh

Expressing serious concern over attacks on the believers of Sanatan Dharma in Bangladesh, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Saturday said the Centre as well as the state are aware of the atrocities on religious minorities in the neighbouring country.

Recently, Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma voiced concern over the attacks on minorities in Chittagong in Bangladesh bordering Tripura.

While addressing a Sanatan Dharma conference in Tripura's Gomati district, the chief minister said, "We are aware of the incidents of attack on the believers of Sanatan Dharma in Bangladesh." He said that the attackers should think twice before carrying out such attacks on them.

"There were attacks on Sanatan Dharma in India in the past but the ancient religion remains intact to date," the chief minister said.

Criticising the CPI(M) which ruled the state for 35 years, Saha alleged they had created an atmosphere of atheism across the state as its leaders did not visit even the Tripureswari temple, one of the Shakti Peeths, in Gomati district.

Because of their 'nastika' (atheist) mindset, they have become non-entity in Tripura, the BJP leader claimed.

"In the name of religion, they made attempts to engineer riots in the state. Our government respects all religions but will not remain silent if anybody challenges amity among the people of different faiths," he alleged.

MP CM Yadav compares Congress to Kans, claims party always opposed Sanatan culture

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday compared the Congress to Kans, Lord Krishna's evil uncle in mythology, and alleged that the party always opposed Sanatan culture.

Yadav, who was campaigning for the BJP in Satrana and Ladkui villages of Budhni assembly seat for the November 13 bypolls, said leaders of the Congress did not pray to Lord Ram or go to Ayodhya.

"Krishna Kanhaiya of Jamuna ji (of Mathura) is still left," Yadav said in an apparent reference to the Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura.

"We didn't see Kans. But see these Congress people. There is no difference between Kans and Congress. They are of the same line and emotions," he said.

He alleged that Congressmen always opposed good things and Sanatan culture.

"They (Congress) create rifts and divisions in the country. They make people fight each other," he said, claiming that not a year passed without a riot during the Congress rule.

The chief minister said, "There are no such riots in our regime. Our government takes everyone along. A small country like Pakistan used to intimidate us. Now we give a suitable reply by entering their territory." He also urged people to question the Congress about the work it did during its 55-year rule and claimed the opposition had nothing to do with development.

BJP has changed the face of the state and Budhni assembly seat in 20 years, Yadav said.

Haryana CM Highlights Kharif Procurement Success, Criticizes Congress for Neglecting Farmers

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini says "Haryana government made strong arrangements for the purchase of Kharif crops. The purchase of paddy was started on MSP on 27 September. Due to the early arrival of paddy in some mandis, we decided to start the purchase 1 week earlier keeping in mind the interests of the farmers. As per the instructions of the GoI, the purchase of crops has been ensured at MSP. This time farmers did not have to wait at the Mandi gate. For this, the Haryana State Agriculture Development Board implemented a new system for getting passes at the mandi gate. This has benefited the farmers a lot. Farmers easily made digital gate passes themselves from home through mobile app, so that they did not need to get another gate pass at the Mandi gate. They entered the Mandi directly and sold their crops without any delay or standing in line. Our government also made a complete arrangement for the payment of the crop. Our government has done the work of sending money directly to the farmers' account within 72 hours after the purchase of the crop. In this Kharif season, Rs 4.84 lakh permanent farmers are registered on the Meri Fasal, Mera Byora portal...Farmers have been paid an amount of Rs 11, 296 crores directly in their accounts. This is what the Congress is not able to digest. For the Congress, which claims to protect the interests of farmers, their own interests are more important than the farmers'..."
